Research

Since Fall 2008, I have been co-advised by Chris Ponting at Oxford and Elliott Margulies at the National Institutes of Health. Broadly speaking, my work involves leveraging new sequencing technologies to elucidate genome evolution and function as it pertains to the brain. I'm always open to exploring potential collaborations.

As an undergraduate, I worked on the synthesis and characterization of organic-inorganic hybrid nanoparticles with Michael Wong at Rice University, in addition to some unrelated work in forensics. In high school I studied microseisms at LIGO.
